ST ne relateaza despre modul cum Comedy Central a starnit indignarea majoritatii crestinilor prin proiectul intitulat "JC", descris sumar de cei de la Los Angeles Times astfel:

The Catholic League, poate stiti, il are ca presedinte pe Bill Donohue, care ar fi declarat:

Ce s-a intamplat de fapt cu acea caricaturizare a lui Mahomed si de ce a fost cenzurata?

Ca atare, producătorii serialului au modificat scenariul desenului animat, astfel încât să nu provoace reacțiile violente ale musulmanilor. Peste fața personajului care-l reprezenta pe Mahomed au fost puse cartoane negre, de obstrucție a imaginii.


Frica si instinctul de supravietuire au fost motivele cenzurii. Ce-i deranjeaza de fapt pe cei de la CARB?

Dom'lor, asta inseamna libertatea de exprimare, asumarea riscurilor ca un alt grup sa iti terfeleasca simbolurile celor mai dragi lucruri pe care le ai pe lume. Eu zic sa nu ne vaicarim prea tare din cauza acestor dezavantaje, libertatea isi merita pretul. smile.gif
